Haleiwa Kalau
Haleiwa “Hale” Kalau, 80 of Kailua-Kona and formerly of Honolulu, died March 18, 2020, at Kona Community Hospital. Born Aug. 1, 1939, in Honolulu, she was a retired supervisor for Ewa Brand Poultry.

She is survived by daughters, Dolores (William) Kaluna, Helen (Milton) Akiona; son, John Kalau III, all of Honolulu; brother, Richard (Millie) Polelia of Las Vegas; sister, Melecia (Richard) Carreira of Hilo; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Jill DeLuz
Jill DeLuz, 87, of Waimea, died Feb. 28, 2021, at her residence. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired landscaping proprietress.

She is survived by sons, Robert (Patricia) Kaula of Hilo and Harold Kaula of Waimea; daughter in-law, Heather Kaula of Waimea; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hose Manini
Hose “Kila” Lanakila Manini, 89, of Kailua-Kona, died Feb. 26, 2021, at Kona Community Hospital. Born March 1, 1931, in Waianae, Oahau, he was a musician, member of the former Aloha Pumehana Serenaders and longtime Merrie Monarch house band musician.
Services will be held at a later date.
He is survived by companion, Paul Sowa of Kailua-Kona; sister, Michelle (Conrad) Molina of Ewa Beach, Oahu; two nieces; and numerous hanai family.

The location of services for Arthur Ronolo, 69, of Hilo, who died Feb. 9, 2021, have been changed. The drive-through service will be held at Haili Tent next to Panaewa Park from 2-4 p.m.
